Description

This private tour is a perfect combination of Kakheti’s most scenic spots.

You’ll see the toy-like town of Signagi, with its red roofs, tiny streets, and marvellous view over the Alazani Valley. Here we will also have a small wine tasting of natural Georgian wines made by the ancient Qvevri technology.

You’ll also visit the ancient Bodbe Monastery, which is lovingly taken care of by the nuns and is a strong contrast with its rose bushes and white churches to the monks led Gareji monastery.

The final stop is the unique David Gareja cave monastery on the Georgian-Azerbaijani border. It has a special spiritual atmosphere and is surrounded by a beautiful deserted landscape.

I want to take Maria with me on all my travels! She is so knowledgeable, friendly, easy-going, smart and funny. This trip gives you a completely different side of the country away from the mountains and into the countryside. A must-see for sure.
Great views, story and wine

Maria was very professional and knowledgeable. She is not from Georgia, but had heart of Georgian and able to tell about the place from both internal and external perspectives. The mountain view near the David Gareja was unexpectedly spectacular. The driver was also kind to offer me typical breakfast with bread and cheese. The story of David was new to me and was very interesting to listen to. Lastly had tasty wines and chacha with amazing view of the Alazani valley at Signagi. Definitely worth a visit.
